YBS Commercial Mortgages has launched a new London hub, which will be run by Andrew Edwards, who as been promoted to the role of regional director.
This hub will focus on business development, with the aim of building a strong presence in the capital. Edwards, who was previously the regional lead for the South East team at YBS, will be supported by a team of relationship directors, who have been deployed from existing internal teams.
This includes Mark Setchell and Gaynor Morgan, both of whom will be senior relationship directors and Dan Sloman.
YBS Commercial Mortgages managing director Tom Simpson says: “As a lender who can operate in any part of England and Wales, a nationwide presence is vital. London is a crucial market, and we’re thrilled that we’re now able to execute our plans to build out our presence in the region.”
He adds that this move will enable the company to strengthen its offering in the commercial market with the new hub able to provide a personal service to brokers and their clients in the region.
