Halifax Intermediaries is paying £1,000 cashback to first-time buyers and home movers from today.
The offer is available until 24 June 2018.
The lender says the move is “part of Halifax Intermediaries’ ongoing commitment to the intermediary market”.
Halifax Intermediaries head Ian Wilson says: “We’re hoping it will help ease the financial burden for home buyers getting on to the housing ladder for the first time and those moving house, when extra cash can come in handy after committing to a new mortgage.”
Halifax is the third lender in the last seven days to bring in first-time buyer mortgage with £1,000 cashback.
Accord Mortgages last week launched a range of 95 per cent LTV mortgages with £1,000 cashback, as did Newcastle Intermediaries.
In February, Leeds Building Society introduced £1,000 cashback deals on loans of up to 75 per cent LTV.
